I trust the quality of Cole Haan purses. I have another purse from Cole Haan, and it is sturdy, and doesn't change color at all although it's been about 2 years.
For that reason, I bought this bag in pacific which is blue + a little bit of purple, and the color makes this bag unique and more beautiful. I love it because it's light, roomy and edge. Haha.
Pick the color you love, and get it!

At this moment, I absolutely LOVE this bag! I just bought it last night in Pacific and all night I've been dreaming about the other colors I MUST have it in: deep royal purple, rich chocolate brown, golden yellow, burnt orange, dark gray....if they ever make these colors, I will buy them ALL. I'm already planning on going back for it in "Caribbean"! SO perfect for work and then the gym. And then a shopping tote on the weekend. Beautiful thin straps that stay nicely on the shoulder so you won't have to fix and re-adjust a million times a minute! And the strap drop is so perfect - the bag rests nicely under or behind the arm.
The only thing I would add (and this goes for most of my Cole Haan bags) are protective/decorative feet on the bottom and stiff boards for the inside base so that people can really maintain and enjoy the shape and design of their bags for a long time. I would buy more bags than I already do if I was more confident that certain styles wouldn't start looking like leather sacks once I've thrown my iPad and books in them a few times. I hope that I don't have that problem with this bag because it really is very lovely.

Bought this as a gift for my wife, unsure if she would like it. Knowing she liked totes, I felt pretty confident. Well, she loves it! Can't stop talking about how it's going to be her favorite bag this spring/summer. Like the ad said, "the go-to tote!"

This is the perfect tote. It's elegant yet practical, with gorgeous, lightweight leather, lovely lining and great inside pockets.
Now I just need to convince Cole Haan to make it in chocolate brown and I'll buy another!
