These shoes look great for a casual occasion, and fit me quite well (high instep so that is rare). The problem I have with them, and the reason I write here, is that the finish on the inside is quite rough. I would wear these without socks typically, but the seams on the inside stick out and are abrasive so that really isn't possible. A shame, these would have been near perfect otherwise.

These are some of my favorite pair of shoes and the fourth pair of them finds themselves at the very front of my closet.
I must wear them at least half the summer every year and as they are broken in, I enjoy the patina of use. Not only are they very comfortable but they always attract positive comments, including from the ever picky in-laws.
The only small downside worth noting the the sole of the shoes is also leather together with the rubble nodules and consequently, like all leather soled shoes, they do not handle significant wetness well.

I have wider flat feet and find these shoes very comfortably. The major problem I have with this shoe is the front gets scuffed extremely quickly, resulting in the shoe not looking nice. I enjoy the soft leather but it would've made more sense to place either harder leather or rubber. A minor change to the shoe would satisfy this common problem that most people complain about. A change would prompt me to buy newer versions of this shoe but instead I have to find a different version or brand.

if you have wider feet order half a size bigger and if you walk on pavement you will where out the front leather part of the shoe. but other then that seriously the most comfortable shoe i have ever wore. i will definitely spend the money to be comfortable again. cole haan is a great shoe and i will keep getting them from here on out

I just received these moments ago! Perfect...right out of the box and onto my feet. I could not have asked for better! I ordered my normal 10.5M, and the size was just right! Stylish and comfortable too!

My husband wears a wide shoe. The last Cole Haan's I ordered were 8.5W and they fit fine. I ordered the 8.5W in the Air Grant Penny Loafer. When it arrived it was way too big. By this time there were no more wides left in any size. I tried an 8M, thinking they just fit differently. The 8M fit like a regular 8M - too small. I guess I will start ordering two pairs every time I order - 8W and 8.5W and then send one back. Now I have the 8M to send back. Each time I send back it costs me $11.50! Very frustrating! Need to make more wides. I still would like to get the 8W in the T Moro color in the Air Grant Penny Loafer and they told me it would be later in the summer. I also got 25% off on this order and later they probably won't be on sale.

I bought these for my father-in-law's birthday. FINALLY a gift that he raves about! My husband wears these religiously and my father in law commented on how nice they looked and voila! He's hooked.
They go great with jeans, slacks, and shorts. They are a great transition shoe from the office to dinner or on the weekends at the club. I cannot say enough great things about this shoe.

I bought these shoes and wore them for a whole week and the front is all scuffed up. Right heal area is extremely uncomfortable due the rubbing against it.

This shoe is everything it is advertised to be.
Style is a personal thing, but I really like this shoe style.
Very comfortable. This is my shoe with jeans...no socks.
Reason for a 4 star and not a 5 star is shoe runs a little small to actual.
I ordered three pairs of Cole Haan shoes, all same size. This model of shoe is a bit smaller on the foot, even though it is same size as the others.
